Spiritbox Bio
Spiritbox is a Canadian heavy music band known for combining metalcore intensity with atmospheric textures and melodic vocals. Led by vocalist Courtney LaPlante and guitarist Mike Stringer, the group built an international following through independent releases and songs that move between polished choruses and forceful breakdowns.
The band's breakout album, Eternal Blue, introduced a wider audience to tracks including “Circle With Me,” “Holy Roller” and “Constance.” Spiritbox has earned positive attention for its dynamic songwriting and LaPlante's range, which shifts from clean, expressive singing to powerful harsh vocals. Its sound places the group at the intersection of alternative metal, metalcore and modern hard rock.
Spiritbox appeared at House Of Blues - Chicago on May 9, 2023, on a bill featuring Evanescence and Nova Twins. Venue and Seating Information
House Of Blues - Chicago is known for a close-up concert atmosphere, with sightlines and crowd energy that can feel more immediate than in a large arena. As with many standing-room shows, the experience depends on arrival time and where attendees settle; reaching the floor early can help fans find a preferred viewing position.
Fans choosing a specific area should consider the trade-off between proximity and comfort. A spot near the stage offers an immersive view but may be crowded, while areas farther back can provide more room and a broader view of the performance. Check the event's seating map and ticket details for the arrangement in effect before purchasing.
